Think Outside the Box
A lot of people constantly have things to worry about, whether it's grades, family, friends, safety, the list is infinite. Don't get me wrong, these things are really important, but I saw a quote that really changed my perspective on things, "Don't take life too seriously, no one gets out alive anyways." Although it does sound a bit morbid, it's true. Everyone dies. Nothing is going to last forever. The one thing I've noticed is that my peers all seem to have one concern: grades.Yes, grades are important, but they shouldn't become your life. There are much more important things to live for, things that will make your life worth something, or give it meaning, or make you happy. I always see people constantly talking about grades, whether they totally aced that math test or totally bombed that literature essay. Grades are just a part of your life, don't let it consume you and turn into your life. Try to think bigger, and outside this box you're kept in because of school. The next time a teacher slams a not so great paper on your desk, try to relax, because it honestly is not the end of your existence.
